Can pet-grooming products really change the world?
Sometimes it's the simple ideas that really change our lives. This is one of those times.
For centuries pets have had a place in our hearts and our homes, but the unwanted pet hair and allergy-triggering dander that frequently accompany them have caused far too many pet guardians to have to say goodbye to a beloved member of their family.

New potential for an ancient relationship.
The world of pet lovers -- and that's pretty much the entire world -- has been waiting for a truly effective, inexpensive, easy-to-use solution to the pet-hair-and-dander problem. Now it's here. It's the revolutionary FURminator Professional deShedding Products, centered around a patented new deShedding tools, and it just might change the world -- one pet at a time -- so pet-lovers everywhere can enjoy their pets to the fullest.
Remove hair from your pet, not your couch.
The thinking behind the FURminator deShedding Products is simple logic -- the more hair you remove from your pet, the less hair you need to remove from your couch, your clothes, your floors, your carpet, your car and your home. But typical pet-grooming products do not address the underlying problem, which literally, is the underlying problem -- your pet's undercoat.
It's not the hair you see. It's the hair you don't see.
Your pet's undercoat can become a dense mess of loose, dead hair -- and the major source of shedding. The FURminator deShedding Products were developed to grab and remove -- not cut, but remove -- undercoat hair quickly and easily. Your pet will enjoy the feeling the deShedding tool provides.

How the FURminator deShedding Tool Was Invented
At the heart of the FURminator Professional deShedding Product line is the revolutionary FURminator deShedding Tool. The story of how it was developed offers important insight to how and why the FURminator deShedding Tool works better than any brush, comb or rake.
For years, a struggling groomer had been attempting to find the best tool to combat the number one complaint of her customers . . . shedding. After more than a decade of using every possible device in the industry, she worked with her husband and eventually created a unique edge that didn't cut the pet's coat, but grabs and removes the loose hair from the undercoat.
Together they experimented with placing the stainless steel deShedding edge in a crude handle. Little by little they experimented with different, more-ergonomic handle designs and more-effective edges. After many modifications they arrived at their most successful design and had it patented.
One thing they discovered in the process was that the grooming tool not only removed hair from loose undercoat, it also brought their pet's own natural oils up from the bottom coat to the top coat, leaving the pet with a more lustrous, naturally shiny coat.
